Q. How do I report my participation hours when I can
not contact a net control station (NCS) on the radio frequency?
(See new MARS MOI Dated 1 Jan 09) A. Keep track of your own hours and report them to your SMD at
the end of each quarter. Report your hours as 4.5 hours, not as 4 hours, 30
minutes. Your SMD MUST receive your hours no later than (NLT) the 10th
day of the month following the end of the quarter.

Q. Do I need to keep a log of my operating times
on nets?
A. YES. As per the new MARS
OI, keep a log of your times, and submit them for credit at the end of every
quarter to you SMD.
